are three pavement cafes with tables and parasols in the sun. There's a
car parking area and a hotel in the square with a very good restaurant
(set lunch, four courses from around 12 euros a head including wine). But, of
course you could also select some of the produce from the Farmer's market,
in the streets of Duras each Monday and have lunch on the roof terrace.
The house is in a semi-pedestrian street in DURAS so you are not 'remote' you don't have to drive everywhere.....everything is within a short stroll from Banks, restaurants, post office, boulangeries, pavement cafes, small supermarket, wine producers outlets and the chateau. |
